Stars Figure Skating Club presents the Rising Stars Series
for skaters competing in the following three competitions:
 
Showskate (March 2013) held in Euless 
Cannon Texas Open Basic Skills (July 2013) held @ StarCenter Farmers
StarCenter Basic Skills (Tentative August 2013)

Designated events for Showskate include all Basic Skills events and Beginner I through Preliminary plus Introductory Adult.  
Skaters must participate in at least two competitions to qualify. Points will be awarded according to the following chart:
 

If an event has 2-6 skaters, points are awarded as if there were six skaters in the group. If there is only one skater in
the group, he or she will be awarded three points. If last-minute changes cause groups to become larger than six skaters, then all skaters finishing lower than sixth will receive one point. Skaters may receive bonus points for advancing in level during the course of the season. Champions will be announced at the Stars FSC Banquet.
